Yay! My own fond memories are of the Let’s Plays, from the era when the world was a 2D plane, when elephants and carp were unstoppable death machines, when you could flip a switch and magmafy the world. The days of image memes and illustrated play stories. I should probably write something about that time, there’s at least one holdout out there who thinks the worst thing DF ever did was add a Z axis.
