Awww maybe that’s because it is on a HK server and the network can be a real problem… I’ve put ~50 terminal-based traditional roguelikes on it so far! (Btw the generated spams are quite annoying…)

Thanks! A while back we did features on Alphaman and Omega here, and one on the history of Angband, if you’re interested in that!

Ah hey! I had a look at server.ephesus.quest but it just says to press enter to reconnect so far? (I find I have to check the URLs in all my comments lately, there’s been so much “AI”-generated spam.)

It’s been a while since I left comments in SetSideB. I’ve deployed a dgamelaunch server recently which covers loads of roguelikes and pre-rogue roguelikes from my collections, hopefully to allow people gain access to them. The SSH server is rlfans(at)server.ephesus.quest:2222 (with pw “darkfun” which is a inside joke of CN dwarf fortress community). You can also visit https://server.ephesus.quest ! I may put it up on the Temple of the Roguelike when I’m ready.
